Background information about the photo:

The founder of Lancia Automobiles SpA is the Italian engineer and racer Vincenzo Lancia. In 1906, the racer and engineer founded his own company, Fabbrica Automobili Lancia, with the support of colleague Claudio Forjolin. Together they acquired a small factory in Turin, where they engaged in the development of future cars. The first model was called 18-24 HP and could be considered revolutionary by the standards of the time.

This photo shows you the Lancia Stratos HF at Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este, the first sports car developed specifically for rallying. The body was designed by Marcello Gandini, the chief designer of design agency Bertone.
