Background information about the photo:
Lamborghini was founded in 1963 and showed its first prototype, the 350GTV, that same year. Yet Lamborghini only made a worldwide impression with the Miura that was introduced in 1966. Never before had people seen such a beautiful, fast and futuristic car. The Lamborghini Miura had a top speed of 275 km/h and was the world's first supercar with a central placed engine.
This photo shows the Lamborghini P400 SV. The P400 SV is the very last production from 1974, that was ordered by Italian industrialist Luigi Innocenti for his son Gianfranco. It was also the first car that was used by legendary test driver Valentino Balboni, when he started his famous career. Today this car is driven by Simon Kidston, a well-known Miura guru and specialist for the world's finest classic cars.
