Background information about the photo:
While all Ferrari's are beautiful in their own ways, it’s their early models that draw the most praise and are often thought to be some of the most beautiful cars in the world. The 250 was the company’s most successful early series, with many variants created throughout its lifetime for both road and race use.
This 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder SWB was created as a better-handling 250 GT with a shorter wheelbase of 2,400 mm compared to the 250 GT Berlinetta’s 2,600 mm. This example was once owned by french film star Alain Delon and sold for 16.3 Million Euros in 2015when it was discovered as a barn find. It is shown here at Villa d’Este 2019 in perfectly restored condition.
